Plot: Jacob is an established businessman in Dubai. He is very helping to others and leads a successful life with his family. He is more than a father to his children, he is their buddy. One of his friends approach him for a business opportunity where there is a scope for minting huge profits by buying loads of steel at a cheaper rate. He invests all he has and makes all of the people around him to invest in it. But his friend whom he considers as a brother cheats him by running away with a whopping amount of 11 crores. Jacob is answerable and an arrest kind of situation is established. He flies to Libya to make some money with certain deals and come out of this mess. But again tragedy is waiting for him there. It is now his sons and wife’s duty to clear the mess by settling the money and bring him back from the shit hole situation in Libya. Can they do it?
This is a true story which will really astonish each one of us, a life hard to get through. As the title says the movie is riding on the shoulders of Jacob, Renji Panickar has given a stellar performance, be it his attitude or be it his mannerism. The character portrayed by Lakshmi Ramakrishnan as his wife Sherly takes his wand and carries the second half of the movie. The rest of the cast including Nivin Pauly has done a decent performance. The movie really portrayed the power of togetherness in the family.
Who is a businessman? Even when the world shatters under your feet like a palace made of cards he should be capable of communicating with his customer looking at their eyes with cent percent confidence as nothing has
happened. Very true. Confidence will definitely flow into your vein, if you had made a fortune from nothing because there is no fear of going back to nothing, it is all where you started. The song Thiruvathira bought a pack of nostalgia for me, also a rap song in Malayalam was a different attempt. The dialogues between Saikumar and Nivin is something noteworthy to youngsters it has some message to take forward.
This is not an out of the box movie, you can also predict to an extent what is going to happen. The speciality lies in the making, definitely Vineeth Sreenivasan can be happy about that. Some movies stay close to your heart – this is not just because of the greatness in its making, but because the events revolving around it or some characters can easily connect with us thus forming an unknown relationship. This was such a movie and it is the power of togetherness in the family that communicated with me. I award a rating of 4 out of 5 stars for this story of Jacob and his world.

Hai, I’m From Andhra, I love Malayalam Movies, and they are soft romantic and gentle. On the whole Malayalam movies give a gentle good feeling without much violence (from the films I watched). I have only one thing to say for Malayalam Industry, Really the actors should look after their physique both male and female actors. Malayalam Actors who work in other Industries have transformed very well about their physique. Those who did thing are still in the Industry and those who don’t are disappeared long ago. Nayanthara is the perfect example for this. In every other technique Malayalam is much better than the other Industries In India. I hope someone will listen and think about this. I read lot of
Malayalam cinema news (chalachithram ) mollywood news here. Hope you enjoy too. Wishing a great year for Malayalam film Industry.

I am from Tamil nadu I like Malayalam Movies very much, in contrast I heard many Malayalam people like VIJAY, AJITH, SURYA, ALLU ARJUN. Tollywood is completely opposite to molly wood, whereas kolly wood is mixture of both the tolly wood and molly wood. Movies Made by Malayalam Industries are heart warming and life oriented, where you can at least learn something for your Life. I wish People from Malayalam film industry release their movies in Tamil with subtitles so that it will reach wider audience. Because artistic work should reach more people in the world. I used to read all the latest Kerala News in Malayalam from this site, check it , would be useful.
